The Ridgemount F-Beam™ Mini Connector is a small form factor fibre optic expanded beam connector offering the same robustness and protection characteristics of the F Beam range. It can be used in harsh environment applications that include military communications, industrial data communications and outside video broadcasting. The MIL-DTL-83526 hermaphroditic interface negates the need for in-line adaptors, or male and female mating halves. It allows the user to develop daisy-chain links that suit their applications, whether indoor or outdoor or a combination of both. These F-Beam™ Mini connections are easy to clean, resistant to environmental contamination and less susceptible to variations in temperature and humidity. The connector is available in both single mode and multimode versions.
