Carrier Seal is an eight-man Tactical Diving Vehicle (TDV)
designed for covert insertion and extraction of Special
Operations personnel. Crewed by a driver and vehicle
Commander, Carrier Seal is able to undertake rapid over
the horizon surface operations. However, where the threat
level requires discretion, Carrier Seal may run awash with
minimum signature and when required, run fully submerged
for covert infiltration, ex-filtration or surface threat evasion.

Besides carrying personnel and their field equipment
through the littoral zone, to facilitate Intelligence,
Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance
(ISTAR) operations, Carrier Seal may accommodate
additional mission specific systems such as mounted
weapons, side-scan sonar, communications equipment,
Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) and Autonomous
Underwater Vehicles (AUVs). For operations requiring
extended range, the craft can carry additional fuel tanks
and battery packs.
