Mercury Defence & Intelligence

Spatial Apps (UK) Ltd

Mercury Defence & Intelligence (D&I) uses integrated data gathering, ingestion, analysis and fusion technology to produce near real-time actionable Intelligence. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is used to transform multiple sources of data, including local news reports, social media, satellite data, and other geospatial data into cohesive analysis ready datasets. The system can present processed data to users and decision makers via either an online Analysis Toolkit that quickly identifies, interprets, and ranks up to millions of data sources that would otherwise require hours of manual analysis, or via an API which can be integrated into existing analysis packages such as i2, Centrifuge or Palantir or a common operating picture (COP). Mercury D&I allows different sources of information such as social media and local news reports to be correlated and linked to specific locations. Using AI technology, web-scraping and sentiment analysis techniques, Mercury D&I can monitor and detect when terrorism, geopolitical unrest, crime or combat operation events are reported in social media, online news reports, forums or the dark web. This information is then consolidated and linked to a range of other location-based data before being integrated according to the risk profiles. Profiling, reporting, trend analysis and collaborative team analysis allow for rapid and intelligent dissemination of data and intelligence products.
